STEVE SHACKELFORD, Chief Executive Officer
Steve Shackelford oversees the development, oversight and execution of the global strategy of Redeemer City to City as Chief Executive Officer.
He comes to CTC with a long history of business and leadership experience—from his tenure with PWC, an international accounting firm that included stints in Paris and New York, to his senior leadership roles in the real estate sector with CNL, an Orlando, Florida based private investment management firm. Most recently, Steve served as President of one of the largest business development companies in the United States, co-advised by CNL and KKR, a leading global investment management firm.
Steve and his high school sweetheart, Lisa, have been married for 30 years. They have three adult children and one grandson. Their children live in Atlanta, Brooklyn and Nashville.
Steve enjoys running, tennis, travel and history. After 20 years in Orlando, he and Lisa have relocated to the Upper West Side of NYC.
TIM KELLER, Chairman and Co-Founder
Timothy Keller is Chairman of Redeemer City to City and the founding pastor of Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Manhattan, which he started in 1989 with his wife, Kathy, and three young sons. For over twenty-five years he has led a diverse congregation of urban professionals that has grown to a weekly attendance of over 5,000.
Dr. Keller grew up in Pennsylvania and was educated at Bucknell University, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and Westminster Theological Seminary. He previously served as the pastor of West Hopewell Presbyterian Church in Hopewell, Virginia, Associate Professor of Practical Theology at Westminster Theological Seminary, and Director of Mercy Ministries for the Presbyterian Church in America.
MEREDITH DENTON, Executive Assistant, CEO
Meredith grew up in South Carolina and earned her B.A from Wofford College. She served in Chile with Mission to the World (MTW). After her time with MTW, she helped create the International Offices of the Universidad de Vina del Mar and the School of Business and Economics at the Universidad de Chile, where she received a dual degree MBA from the Universidad de Chile and Tulane University. She has also worked for international recruiting organizations in the administration of educational programs and various other activities related to orienting and on-boarding international students.
Meredith lives in New York City with her husband and two children. She attends Redeemer-West Side, where she serves as a deaconess and volunteers with numerous other ministries.
CRAIG ELLIS, Special Assistant, Tim Keller
Craig Ellis is the personal assistant to Tim Keller. Prior to coming to Redeemer, Craig consulted at The Boston Consulting Group and worked in plant management and engineering at a petroleum refinery in Texas. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and BS in Chemical Engineering from Kansas State University.
Craig lives on the Upper West Side with his wife and three young children.
