GOOD WRITING IS AN ESSENTIAL INGREDIENT FOR GOSPEL MOVEMENTS.
In many places around the world, a church or network’s first encounter with City to City comes through a resource—a book, article, video—that casts a vision for gospel renewal, collaborative church planting, faith and work, or mercy and justice. In the past, resources written by Tim Keller (sometimes translated into local languages) often inspire City to City’s work in a city or region.
But just as we recognize that no one church—and no one kind of church—can reach a city, in the same way we recognize that no single voice—and no single kind of resource—can represent or lead a global gospel movement. If we want to see whole cities and regions renewed by the gospel on every continent, we need the insights of thought leaders and experienced practitioners from around the world.
That’s why City to City is looking for and developing the next generation of writers leading thriving, gospel-centered, contextualized ministries in places like Lagos, Beijing, Berlin, and San Francisco. We want to give voice to leaders around the world who can share their experiences of God at work among them and can help you, wherever you are, take the next step of faithfulness.
Sincerely,
