KATHERINE LEARY ALSDORF , Vice President, Faith and Work

Katherine Leary Alsdorf is the founder & former executive director of Redeemer’s Center for Faith & Work and co-author with Tim Keller of Every Good Endeavor. She came to Redeemer in 2002 to establish the Center for Faith & Work and help nurture a meaningful integration between people’s faith and their professional work. Prior to this ministry role at Redeemer, Katherine served 20 years in the high tech industry. In California, she served as CEO of Pensare, Inc., an online management education company, and CEO of One Touch Systems, Inc., a hardware/software products company. Before that, she was president of Private Satellite Network, a communications network and services company in New York City. She also worked in various consulting, sales, and marketing roles, primarily in the technology sector.

She received an MBA from The Darden School, University of Virginia, and a BA in Psychology and Education from Wittenberg University. She became a Christian mid-career in NYC through the ministries of Redeemer Presbyterian Church and has taken seminary classes at Regent College in Vancouver. She also serves on the Theology of Work Project Steering Committee.


LAUREN GILL,  Director, Global Gotham Network and Faith & Work Communications  

A Kentucky native, Lauren moved to New York City to study acting and journalism at New York University. As an actress, Lauren has performed widely, from London to Off Broadway to Amish country, in pieces ranging from biblical musicals to Shakespeare’s classics.

Lauren has a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from Columbia University. She founded and operates The Redemptive Pursuit, a weekly devotional series for women. She is a graduate of the 2010 Gotham Fellowship class and has been working at Faith & Work since 2013. Having lived in the city for over a decade now, Lauren and her husband, Suneel, love exploring NYC’s culinary options. They live in Harlem.
