Church Planting

Our church planting staff recruits, assesses, trains and coaches church planters in New York City and other global cities. Planting a new church can cost between $40-$80K including recruitment and training of a lead pastor, start up costs like church facility rental, and consulting by CTC staff. General training and programs to serve and equip planters and leaders vary by region and may cost $5K-$50K per project.

Our goal is to start 30 new churches in global cities in 2010. 
Projected budget for 2010: $2.75M.

Content Labs

More recently, we have begun developing resources (including this website) in order to share helpful content and best practices for urban ministry with a much wider audience. Some examples of our projects over the next few years are:

+ launching a new imprint of books in partnership with Penguin
+ publishing video-based curricula for use in small groups and churches
+ publishing many more free resources on our website, including translations

Projected budget for 2010: $600K.
