Translations
We are currently in the process of gathering and publishing translations of key resources in key languages. Please contact us if you are interested in sponsoring a project, or offering your services as a translator or proofreader (native speakers only, please).
You can find some translated books and articles posted in our Resources section (or use the links to the left).

Who can translate Redeemer's materials?
You must be a native speaker approved by Redeemer City to City to translate our materials. Experienced editors and translators are preferred, but anyone may volunteer by contacting us via our Contact form.
-
Will translators receive compensation or credit for their work?
We will determine compensation based on the translator's experience, the standard rates in their country of origin, and the priority level of both the language and the resource. If a project does not fall within our budget constraints, we also accept donor sponsorships or volunteer work.
Translators will own the copyright to their work along with the original author and Redeemer City to City. We will distribute most translations for free, so there are no royalties.
-
What is your publication process?
Translators and proofreaders should take into account the cultural context, and adapt examples and exercises as needed. Redeemer City to City and a qualified native speaker (this may be a pastor or ministry worker) will review each piece before it is published.
Redeemer City to City reserves the sole right to publish and distribute all final publications. We will post most translations for free in the Library section of this Web site. Translators and proofreaders may reprint and distribute the materials in their local church community only.

What about translations of Tim Keller's books, like The Reason for God and The Prodigal God?
Published books and studies, such as The Reason for God, are usually licensed to publishers in other countries to be translated and sold in stores. If you are a foreign publisher and would like to publish a book or study, please contact us via our Contact Form.

I would like to get an article or resource translated into my language. What can I do?
If you are a church or individual who would like to sponsor a project, please contact us to find out what it would cost and how it could be arranged.
If you are a translator and would like to offer your services, or if you are a church planter, pastor or lay leader who would like to use a resource but do not have the time, money or skillset to do any of the above, please contact us so that we can keep track of your requests. Thank you for your cooperation!
