Our current program offerings are:
GOSPEL IN THE CITY (2 days, global cities)
Gospel in the City is a two-day learning experience that exposes urban leaders to core principles on how the gospel changes hearts, communities, and cities.
Gospel in the City was launched in 2010 and will be expanded to more cities in 2011.
INTERNATIONAL INTENSIVE (5 weeks)
The Church Planting International Intensive is a five-week residency training program in New York City for emerging church planters. Participants are usually planting churches outside the United States and are in the pre-launch phase.
How do I qualify for the International Intensive?
Participation in the Intensive happens primarily through direct recruiting by one of our International Directors or on strong recommendation from someone within the Redeemer network. Participants need to be already on the critical path toward planting a church in one of our targeted global cities and committed to planting a gospel centered church.
What are the dates?
Typically the Intensive takes place for 5 consecutive weeks beginning the first week in September and ending mid-October. The Intensive is a full-time program in New York City and all participants are offered housing scholarships during that time.
International Intensive Details
NYC FELLOWS (1 year, NYC only)
The Redeemer Church Planting Fellows Program is a training and leadership development program designed for individuals who want to church plant in New York City. The Fellows Program gives participants a realistic experience of life and ministry within the center-city context and is a full time one-year residential course. At the conclusion of the program, Fellows will usually transition (within a year) into the pre-launch phase of their church planting projects.
How do I apply for the Fellows Program?
If you want to participate in the Fellows Program, begin by emailing Mark Reynolds directly at markr@redeemercitytocity.com. Include your resume (if you have one that is up-to-date) and / or a brief description of your educational history and vocational background.
URBAN INCUBATOR (2 years, NYC only)
The Urban Incubator is a two-year program for lead church planters of congregations in New York City and the greater metropolitan area. Planters in the pre-launch phase of a church planting project make ideal candidates. There are 16 Incubator sessions over a two-year period.
Training topics are derived from research conducted with successful church planters as to the critical issues necessary for a thriving gospel-centered church in an urban environment. Training emphasizes personal relationship, theologically-driven ministry, as well as practical development of strategic church planting skills.
